It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, Bill Cox, at Riverview Health Centre, with his loving daughter Alison at his side.
He is predeceased by his parents Lillian and Charles Cox, and sisters Lorraine, Mae, and Arlene. He is survived by his loving wife Judy of 30 years, brother Charles (Dorothy), children Marshall and Alison, step-daughters Pam (Elmer) and Brenda, as well as grandchildren Jackson, Quinn, Rhyse, Mackenzie, Tyler, Jegar, Sarah, and Lindsey, and great-grandchildren Ethan, Daniel, Ezra, Zoey, and Jozy.
Bill was employed by CP Rail for 38 years, where he retired in 1993.
Dad was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, we will forever remember his passion for nature and animals, particularly his shared love with Judy for their many dogs. He was proud of their country home and loved entertaining his children, grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed laughter, music, and cooking, and he had a natural and warm way of bringing smiles to people’s faces.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
