Stephen Gyorgy Berczi

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Berczi. Stephen leaves behind his sister Anna, brother Anthony, and son Steven as he moves on to join his mother Anna and father Istvan in the afterlife.

Steve was an amazing man who was good and generous to all that knew him. He had interests in foraging and enjoyed spending time in nature. He had a love for hunting handed down to him by his father, who taught him how to shoot and track game. He also taught him about firearms, something Steve grew to have an almost inexhaustible knowledge about. Steve was an avid bow hunter for years, an area of the sport his father never took interest in; however, Steve passed the passion onto his son. His music tastes were diverse. His love of music was infectious, and one could always learn something about it from his collection.

He had four nephews and a brother-in-law who he meant a lot to, and they will all miss him dearly.

Now we say farewell to a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who, although gone, will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Crossings Funeral Care in Steinbach, Manitoba, with a private family Interment at a later date.
