It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the passing of our beloved Shane on Monday December 23, 2024. Taken from us far too soon at the young age of 36.
Shane will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Amelie, his children Colbie, Brogan, Darwin and Esher. His parents Jeannine (Andre) and Roger (Lise). Siblings Stephane, Sylvie (Chad) and his nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Cedric, Alyson and Reed. Also, his mother and father-in-law, Rachelle and Scott along with his "brother from another mother" Fenway.
Shane was a ray of sunshine, a beacon of light wherever he went. The life of the party with his plethora of jokes, gags and shenanigans. He was always there to lend a helping hand or just there for comfort and support. He enjoyed golfing, drinks around bonfires, fireworks, camping, road trips, card games, skating, snowmobiling and rough housing to name a few.
He loved watching Darwin play hockey, Brogan play baseball, Colbie play volleyball and quality dodo time with Esher. He was so proud of his children. He was head over heels in love with the love of his life, Amelie. His life revolved around his loved ones.
The family wishes to thank all those that reached out during these difficult times.
A special thank you to the staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for the care and compassion shown to Shane and the family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Crossings Funeral Care, with a light reception to follow. The family invites those unable to attend in person to join them through live stream. Please see below.
