Rita Marie Lebrun

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Rita Lebrun on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 at the age of 74 years.

Rita was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2016. As well as her siblings. 

Rita was born on October 3, 1948 to Alexander and Martha Gaudry.

Rita leaves to cherish her many memories; sons Denis Lebrun, Hector Lebrun, daughter; Anita (Delbert) Peters, granddaughters; Sariah (Colton) Falk, Erin Peters (Austin), grandson; Tyrel Peters, daughter; Paulette Lebrun grandson; Jade (Ivy) Lebrun and great grandson Luke. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Rita worked at Revenue Canada her entire career, until her retirement due to heath issues. Rita also worked for Salisbury House at Deacons Corner, to help provide for her family. Rita was a very generous person, taking care of her aging parents, up until their passing. In her retirement years she led a private life, enjoying her favorite television shows and spending time with family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all who played a part in extending our mom's life.

As per mom's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to CancerCare Manitoba.
