Lorraine Lamontagne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, nanny, and friend, Lorraine Lamontagne, age 75, on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre.

She was predeceased by her parents George and Viola Jones.

Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her children; Fred (Sheila), Danny, Tracy, grandchildren; Joseph, Michelle, Jonathon, Jessie, Shaun, and Chantelle great grandchildren; Adam, Sierra, Joseph, Jayden, Serina, Tyson, Juliza, and Caleb. As well as 1 brother, 3 sisters, many nephews, nieces and friends.

Lorraine was a loving and caring person who touched many lives along her life’s journey. She was known to many as Nanny, her will to help others was second to none. It did not matter if it was a meal, or someone to simply listen, Nanny was there for anyone and everyone. She will be sadly and deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Cremation will take place and a private celebration of life will be planned when it is safe to do so.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for the care and compassion shown during Lorraine’s stay.
