It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mom, grandma, granny, sister, and aunt; Annie Dyck on Monday September 12, 2022 at the De Salaberry Region Health Centre.
Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, John H. Dyck in 1998, her mother and father Katharina and Isaac Reimer.
She is survived by her children; Marlene (Dave) Carr, Raymond Dyck (Laura Long), Brian (Noreen) Dyck, Wendy (Denver) Wieler, her grandchildren; Johnathan Carr, Jenni-Lynn Toews, Marc (Ashley) Toews, Vanessa Smith, Steven Toews Angela Toews, Cole Dyck (Amanda), Kyle (Kaitlin) Dyck, Ian Dyck, Maxine Dyck (Randolph), Samantha Wieler (Daniel), Garett (Whitney) Wieler, Lorissa (Nick) Teichmann, Landon (Tamara) Wieler, 27 great grandchildren whom she adored. As well as two sisters, Liz Rempel, Peggy Dueck (The 3 Amigos), many nephews and nieces, some who kept her weekends busy after dad passed.
Mom loved her yard and did an awesome job of maintaining it. Her caretaking job at Niverville Elementary School for over 25 years gave her such meaning and the children taking time to acknowledge her was her highlight. Mom was a very strong woman, cancer 3 times, a stroke and now at the end, congestive heart failure and kidney failure. Her faith in her heavenly father pulled her through all the ups and downs she endured throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A come and go viewing will be held from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Crossings Funeral Care. A funeral service to honour mom’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Crossings Funeral Care with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville. The family invites those unable to attend in person to join them through livestream.
