Abram (Abe) Walter Falk

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend Abram Walter Falk age 75, on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Menno Home of the Aged in Grunthal, Manitoba.

Abe was predeceased by his wife Minna in 2016.

Abe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons; James, Jeff, Jerry, daughters; Joannie, Josie (Doug) , Jolanda (Clayton), his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Abe was born in Winkler, Manitoba to Peter and Katherine Falk. In 1971 he married Minna and together they raised their six children. In 1992 they moved from Manitoba to Westlock, Alberta, where he took on the role as a Janitor and other various jobs. In February 2020 Abe moved back to his old home town of Grunthal, to be closer to his sons and relatives in his final years.

Abe accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and was a born-again man. He is redeemed from all of his sins and now celebrated eternal life in heaven, Absent in the body, present with the Lord.

To the people who sincerely cared for our dad at the Menno Home, we the family truly appreciate you, for the care and compassion shown to dad during his stay. You are good people, thank you so very much.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, 375 Loewen Blvd. Steinbach Manitoba. with viewing 30 minutes prior to the service.  Abe will be laid to rest beside his wife Minna in Clyde, Alberta later this week.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
